We depart Cumbria in the morning for the journey to Richmond; we have time for coffee in this ancient market town before continuing through Thirsk and up Sutton Bank to picturesque Helmsley for lunch. From here we have a short drive to our hotel in Scarborough, arriving in time for your evening meal..

This morning we head north following the coast road to Whitby, the famous fishing port. We have time to wander around the 7th century Whitby Abbey and bustling harbour side before rejoining the coach for a short tour of the North Yorkshire Moors. Returning to the hotel for your evening meal.

Following breakfast today we travel south to Beverley one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets, renowned for its exquisite 13th century minster, time for coffee before our afternoon visit to Burton Constable Hall, a large Elizabethan country house that has been home to the Constable family for over 700 years, the hall, a Grade I listed building, is one of the most fascinating English country houses to survive complete with its historic collections and is set in 300 acres of parkland designed by Capability Brown.

After breakfast we leave our hosts and head to York, free time in this magnificent historic city before heading back to Cumbria arriving home early evening.
