Matilda The Musical, the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the beloved book by Roald Dahl, is heading back out on tour across the UK and Ireland from October 2025.

With book by Dennis Kelly, music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and directed by Matthew Warchus, Matilda is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.

Itinerary

Morning departure from the local area, we travel to Liverpool with comfort stop enroute. Our estimated time of arrival in Liverpool is 12.00pm. You will have free time in the centre before making your own way to the Liverpool Empire Theatre, Lime St, Liverpool L1 1JE to watch Matilda. The performance starts at 2.00PM and lasts for approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes including an interval. Once the show has finished at approximately 4.30PM, we request all passengers to re-join the coach for our return journey to Cumbria.
