This tour gives you the opportunity to experience the Isle of Man’s three heritage railways. The Manx Electric Railway which runs from Douglas to Ramsey; the Snaefell Mountain Railway which climbs to the mountains summit; and the Isle of Man Steam Railway which dates back to 1874. We take a step into the Island’s past with trips to the House of Keys and a return journey on the Douglas Bay Horse Tram.

The Chesterhouse, Douglas ***

The Chesterhouse Hotel is centrally located on Douglas promenade. This warm and welcoming hotel has 67 bedrooms. There is a lift but due to the layout of the hotel they are unable to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. Please speak to Greatdays staff for alternative hotels. There is a large restaurant serving a plentiful buffet for breakfast and dinner. Coach parking is offsite and may be chargeable. The restaurant also has a small bar area. 2 nights entertainment included in a 4-night stay.
