Ice Trail in York or City Shopping

<
>

York

York is a historic and charming city, it’s famous for its rich heritage, ancient architecture, and vibrant cultural scene, making it one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations.

Historic & Architectural Highlights are York Minster: One of the largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals in northern Europe.

York City Walls: Walk along over 3 km of well-preserved medieval fortifications.

The Shambles: A picturesque medieval street with overhanging timber buildings.

ICE TRAIL "An Enchanted City"

This weekend the streets of York will be transformed into “An Enchanted City” where a spell has been cast. Ice sculptures, alive with enchantment, appear across the cobbled and narrow streets of the city. Sculptures will be inspired by magic, mystery, and the weird and wonderful, creating an extraordinary trail. But who cast the spell? And why? The whole family can follow the trail to uncover the truth, before the ice melts and takes everything with it.
