Friday 6th Nov
A morning departure from Cumbria sees you travelling by comfortable coach to Leicester, with a delightful stop en route in the elegant spa town of Harrogate. Here, you will have free time to explore the attractive town centre, browse the stylish shops, or enjoy a light lunch in one of the many cafés, including the famous Bettys Café Tea Rooms.
After your visit, continue your journey south to Leicester, arriving in time to check into your hotel and enjoy your evening meal. The remainder of the evening is free for you to relax and unwind after the journey or perhaps enjoy any optional entertainment available at the hotel.
Saturday 7th Nov
After breakfast this morning you will have the full day at leisure in Leicester, allowing you to explore at your own pace, whether that includes visiting key attractions such as the King Richard III Visitor Centre, strolling through the historic city centre and local markets, enjoying some shopping and cafés, or simply relaxing in one of the nearby parks, before returning to your hotel in the evening for dinner and optional entertainment.
Sunday 8th Nov
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we set off and say farewell to our host and travel to Coventry, where you'll have free time at leisure to explore the city at your own pace, whether that means wandering its streets, browsing independent shops, or sampling local food and cafés, before rejoining the coach for the journey back to Cumbria later in the day.
