Mon 5th April 27

Departing from the local area this morning, we begin our journey South towards the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon late afternoon, with time to explore its charming streets, including Henley Street, famous as the birthplace location of William Shakespeare. Wander among its timber-framed buildings, boutique shops, and inviting cafés, soaking in the quintessential English atmosphere. with comfortable stops planned along the way. Arriving at our hotel later on in the day in time for our evening meal.

Enjoy a relaxing walk along the picturesque River Avon, where you can take in tranquil views, perhaps spot swans gliding by, and admire landmarks such as the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Later, check in to the elegant Stratford Manor Hotel, set amid beautiful countryside surroundings, with evening meal in the hotel.

Tues 6th April 27

In the Footsteps of Shakespeare
Following breakfast, step into the world of William Shakespeare with a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace. This beautifully preserved Tudor house is where Shakespeare was born and spent his early years, offering a fascinating glimpse into 16th-century life.
Continue to Shakespeare's New Place, the site of his final home. Here, you can explore thoughtfully designed gardens and engaging exhibitions that bring his later life and enduring legacy to life.
In the afternoon, unwind on a scenic cruise along the River Avon, where tranquil waters and charming surroundings showcase the beauty of this quintessentially English town.
Enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace before returning to the hotel for your evening meal.

Wed 7th April 27

After breakfast this morning, go behind the scenes with a guided tour of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, home of the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company. Discover how productions are brought to life, from stage design to performance, in this iconic cultural venue.

Later, journey to nearby Warwick to visit the magnificent Warwick Castle. With a history spanning over 1,000 years, the castle offers a captivating look into medieval England through its grand interiors, impressive towers, and beautifully maintained grounds.
Return to the hotel to relax and unwind before enjoying your evening meal.

Thurs 8th April 27

After breakfast, visit the enchanting Anne Hathaway's Cottage, a delightful thatched farmhouse surrounded by idyllic gardens. Once the childhood home of Anne Hathaway, it offers a charming glimpse into rural Tudor life.

Continue into the heart of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty famed for its rolling hills and honey-coloured villages. Enjoy time in picturesque locations such as Chipping Campden or Broadway, each brimming with traditional English character, quaint shops, and cosy tearooms.

Return to the hotel for your evening meal, reflecting on the highlights of your countryside escape.

After breakfast, we say farewell to Stratford, taking with us lasting memories of Shakespeare’s England. Following a comfort stop en route, we arrive home during the early evening.

Main Level: All main corridors, the restaurant, the lounge, and primary ground-floor meeting rooms are step-free and fully accessible.Elevators: A standard elevator is available to access upper floors.
