Departing from the local area this morning, we begin our journey south to Stratford-upon Avon enjoying a comfortable journey with planned comfort stops along the way. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, giving you time to settle in and relax before enjoying your evening meal at the hotel.
Sat 15th May 27
After breakfast this morning, we will depart for Windsor for a full day of exploration. Enjoy a relaxing cruise along the River Thames, taking in scenic views of the surrounding countryside and iconic landmarks along the way.
Following the cruise, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may wish to visit Windsor Castle, one of the oldest and most magnificent royal residences in the world, or simply explore the charming streets, independent shops, and cosy cafés of Windsor at your own pace.
Later in the afternoon, we will return to the hotel where you can relax and freshen up before gathering for our evening meal together, bringing a delightful day in Windsor to a close.

After breakfast, we will head out for a full-day visit to the Cotswolds, an area renowned for its rolling countryside, picturesque villages, and traditional English charm.
Our first stop will be Burford, where you can enjoy its attractive high street, browse the quaint tea rooms and antique shops, and soak up the character of this historic market town.
We will then continue on to either Stow-on-the-Wold or Bibury, often described as one of England’s most beautiful villages, with its honey-coloured stone cottages and idyllic riverside setting.
Later in the afternoon, we will make our way back to the hotel where you can relax before enjoying your evening meal.
Mon 17 th May 27
After breakfast today, we will enjoy a relaxed day exploring Oxford at your own pace.
You may wish to climb the tower of University Church of St Mary the Virgin for some of the finest panoramic views across the city’s historic skyline. You can also wander through the historic Covered Market, home to a variety of local shops, cafés, and artisan stalls.
For a more peaceful experience, enjoy a stroll through Christ Church Meadow, with its beautiful riverside paths and iconic views of Christ Church College.
Later in the day, we will return to the hotel where you can relax before enjoying your evening meal.
Tues 18th May 27
This morning we say farewell to our hosts and begin our journey back to Cumbria, with plenty of comfort stops along the way to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable journey home.
