Thurs 30th July 26

After breakfast, this morning we embark on a nostalgic journey aboard the award-winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway. As we settle into our vintage carriages, we'll enjoy a leisurely 5-mile ride through some of the island's most unspoilt and picturesque countryside.
Our journey begins at Havenstreet Station, travelling first to Smallbrook Junction before continuing non-stop to Wootton. This beautifully restored Edwardian-style country terminus offers a glimpse into the golden age of rail travel. After taking in the charm of Wootton, we return to Havenstreet to conclude our round trip.
In the afternoon, we head to Ryde, where you'll have time at leisure to explore this vibrant seaside town. Whether you choose to stroll along the expansive sandy beach, browse the boutique shops, or enjoy a traditional cream tea at a local café, Ryde offers something for everyone.
Returning to the hotel for evening meal.

Fri 31st July 26

Today after breakfast, we board our coach for a scenic circular tour of the Isle of Wight, a journey showcasing the island's natural beauty and historic charm. With over 60 miles of breathtaking coastline, the island offers countless panoramic views and picture-perfect landscapes.
One of the highlights of our day will be a visit to The Needles, the island's most iconic landmark. We'll experience the famous chairlift at Alum Bay, descending from the dramatic cliff-top down to the colourful beach below. From here, you'll have spectacular views of the Needles Rocks and the Trinity Lighthouse - a sight that has captivated visitors for generations. The site also features a variety of attractions and shops, making it a memorable stop on our tour.
Our journey continues to the charming port town of Yarmouth, steeped in history and character. As one of the oldest settlements on the island, Yarmouth is home to 16th-century architecture, including a Tudor castle built by Henry VIII, and a Grade II listed pier - the longest wooden pier in England still open to the public.
With scenic views, rich history, and iconic sights, today promises to be a true highlight of your Isle of Wight experience

Sat 1st Aug 26

This morning, after breakfast we make our way to the magnificent Osborne House, once the beloved seaside retreat of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Designed in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo, this grand residence offers a rare and intimate glimpse into royal family life.
During our visit, we'll explore the beautifully preserved private apartments and state rooms, filled with original furnishings and personal mementos. A highlight is Queen Victoria's private beach, where you can see her unique bathing machine-an extraordinary piece of Victorian innovation that allowed her to change and bathe in privacy.
Following our visit, we continue on to Newport, the bustling county town of the Isle of Wight. You'll have free time here to browse the local shops, enjoy lunch, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this charming market town. Returning to the hotel for evening meal.
