Mon 8th March 27

Depart from your local pick-up point early in the morning and settle in for a comfortable coach journey south towards the Lancashire coast. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through the countryside, with a relaxing stop in Lancaster, one of England's most historic cities. Dominated by the impressive Lancaster Castle and rich in heritage dating back to Roman times, the city offers attractive streets, independent shops, and charming cafés. Take the opportunity to stretch your legs, explore the city centre, or simply enjoy the atmosphere before continuing your journey.

Continue on to Lytham St Annes, arriving in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to unwind after your journey.

After your evening meal in the hotel, the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Perhaps take a gentle stroll along the promenade, breathe in the fresh sea air, or simply relax and prepare for the days ahead.

Tues 9th March 27

After breakfast at the hotel we will enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Lancashire countryside to Garstang, where you can spend time exploring the charming Garstang Market, known for its wide variety of fresh local produce, crafts, homewares, accessories, and regional treats. You may also wish to take a peaceful stroll along the nearby Lancaster Canal before returning later in the day.

In the late afternoon, enjoy some free time to relax at the hotel or perhaps explore the elegant surroundings of Lytham St Annes at your own pace, before returning to the hotel to enjoy your evening meal.

Wed 10th March 27

After breakfast, we depart from Lytham St Annes and travel north along the scenic coastal route to Blackpool, where you will enjoy free time to explore this famous seaside resort.

You may wish to stroll along the lively promenade, take in panoramic sea views from Blackpool Tower, browse the shops and amusement arcades, or relax with coffee or lunch in one of the many welcoming cafés and restaurants. There may also be time to visit the traditional piers, explore attractions around the Golden Mile, enjoy the beachfront, or simply soak up the vibrant atmosphere for which Blackpool is renowned, before returning to the hotel later in the day for your evening meal.

Thurs 11th March 27

After breakfast, we will head to Cleveleys and Fleetwood, spending the morning in Cleveleys where you can enjoy its modern seafront promenade, browse the shopping centre and relax in one of the many cafés; later in the morning, you’ll continue on to explore Fleetwood Market, one of the North West’s largest open markets, with free time also to discover Fleetwood town itself or visit the nearby Affinity Lancashire Outlet Shopping before heading back later in the day to the hotel for your evening meal.

Fri 12th March 27

After breakfast, we’ll say farewell to our hosts and head to St Annes-on-the-Sea, where you’ll enjoy free time to stroll along the promenade, relax in Ashton Gardens,with it's lakes, and cafés, or browse the small shops and arcades while enjoying a coffee or early lunch.

In the early afternoon, we will continue our journey back to Cumbria, with comfort stops en route, arriving home during the late afternoon.
