Itinerary

We depart from the local area in the morning and travel to Lytham St Annes. Our estimated time of arrival in Lytham is approximately 11:00am.

You will then be free to spend the day at your leisure, enjoying everything the town and event have to offer.

We kindly ask all passengers to re-join the coach at 4:55pm, ready for a prompt departure at 5:00pm for our return journey to Cumbria.

The 15th annual Lytham 1940s Weekend is scheduled for Saturday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 16th, 2026, on Lytham Green and in the town centre. (Reays are just visiting on the Sunday 16th August)

This free-to-attend event features vintage displays, military vehicles, a Spitfire, live music (including the Kalamazoo Dance Band), and wartime fashion, with additional evening entertainment available.

Location: Primarily Lytham Green, Lancashire, FY8 5LB.

Highlights: Spitfire display, military vehicle convoys, vintage trade stalls, re-enactments, and dancing.

Performers: Confirmed entertainers include Colin Bourdiec as George Formby, Johnny Victory, Bluebirds UK, Lancashire Belle, and Paula Marie.

Cost: Free admission to daytime events, while evening marquee events require tickets.

Visitors are encouraged to dress in 1940s attire to enjoy the atmosphere, which includes Derek Herbert performing Winston Churchill speeches.
