We depart Cumbria in the morning for the journey to Cornwall with comfort stops en-route and due to arrive late afternoon in time for the evening meal in the hotel.

After breakfast today, you are free to spend the day at leisure exploring the charming coastal village of St Agnes, where you might enjoy scenic coastal walks, browse local shops, or relax in a café and try a traditional Cornish cream tea, before returning to the hotel later in the evening for your evening meal.
Fri 2nd July 27
After breakfast this morning, we depart by coach for the vibrant seaside town of Newquay, famous for its stunning coastline and surfing culture.
On arrival, enjoy time at the iconic Fistral Beach, renowned for its golden sands, dramatic scenery, and lively atmosphere. Take a stroll along the seafront, relax with refreshments, or simply soak up the coastal views.
Later, continue to the charming harbour town of Padstow, known for its picturesque streets, working harbour, and delightful cafés and shops. Enjoy free time to explore at leisure before rejoining the coach for the return journey, back to the hotel for our evening meal.

After breakfat, we head out on a full-day scenic tour through Cornwall, beginning with a visit to Land's End, the most westerly point of mainland England, where you can take in breathtaking coastal views, dramatic cliffs, and the iconic signpost overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continuing along Cornwall’s picturesque coastline, we then travel to the charming seaside town of St Ives, famous for its golden beaches, cobbled streets, art galleries, and vibrant harbour. Enjoy free time to explore the town at your own pace, browse boutique shops, relax by the waterfront, or visit attractions such as Tate St Ives before returning in the evening after a memorable day of stunning scenery and coastal charm, for our evening meal.

This morning after breakfast we'll depart for a full-day excursion exploring two of Cornwall’s most celebrated garden attractions, beginning with a visit to Eden Project, where you can discover its world-famous biomes, stunning gardens, and diverse plant collections from around the globe. We then continue to the enchanting Lost Gardens of Heligan, a beautifully restored historic estate featuring lush gardens, woodland walks, and peaceful countryside scenery. After time to explore and relax, we enjoy a scenic drive through the Cornish countryside before heading back later in the day to the hotel for our evening meal.

After breakfast, we set out for a full-day excursion visiting the historic city of Truro and the vibrant coastal town of Falmouth. The morning is spent exploring Truro, Cornwall’s only city, where you will have the opportunity to admire the stunning architecture of Truro Cathedral and enjoy the city’s charming streets and local atmosphere. In the afternoon, continue to Falmouth, known for its rich maritime heritage and beautiful harbour setting, where you can visit the fascinating National Maritime Museum Cornwall before enjoying some time to relax by the picturesque waterfront and soak in the coastal scenery. Heading back to the hotel later in the day for our evening meal.

This morning after breakfast we will visit Perranporth, known for its vast sandy beach, charming village centre, and the famous Watering Hole pub located right on the shoreline, offering the perfect opportunity for a leisurely stroll, a relaxing drink, or simply enjoying the stunning coastal views. We will return to the hotel early afternoon, allowing plenty of time to prepare for our journey home tomorrow and unwind before enjoying our evening meal.

We say goodbye to our host this morning after breakfast and begin our journey back home to Cumbria, travelling comfortably with plenty of scheduled stops along the way to stretch our legs, refresh, and enjoy breaks.

Beautifully appointed en suite rooms, many of which enjoy garden views, we also have a choice of cosy lounges, well stocked bar and an excellent restaurant serving both Table d'Hôte and Á la Carte menus.
Accessibility
The hotel features two floors, but there is no lift on the property. This means all upper-floor accommodations require stair access, so requesting a ground-floor room is essential if stairs are difficult.
Showers & Bathrooms: Some rooms feature traditional shower curtains and step-in tubs. However, the hotel does offer rooms with walk-in showers. Be sure to specify your bathroom preference when making a reservation.
