Everyone had a good time. As usual he was a credit to your company. He worked hard and was very attentive to all of our needs. He made a big impression on everyone and they have requested that he drives us on any other trips we make. We are looking at a few and will contact you with reference to prices for coach and Ray as driver, which as far as our groups is concerned comes as a package. Dear Sir I am writing to tell you how pleased I was to work with your drivers during the February half term ski trip to Kitzbuhel. Below is an extract from a report to teh tour company about the trip: Coach drivers Absolutely brilliant! Your drivers could not have been more helpful if they had tried! The coach was cleaned out over and above what was necessary – it was always completely spotless inside and out all week. They worked out a really good system for efficient loading and unloading of skis which saved lots of time. They were completely amenable about drop-offs and pick-ups and excellent with the students. Both were quite ill later in the week but neither complained nor made this obvious in front of the teachers and students. They were great company, had a great sense of humour and it was a pleasure working and socialising with them – I would work with them again any time! I have worked with a lot of drivers both with ski companies and your drivers are definitely two of the best! They proved an interesting contrast to two drivers with another ski company who spent the entire week moaning about absolutely everything – no wonder they hardly saw their ski rep! The contribution of the coach drivers can make all the difference as to whether or not a ski trip is successful; I am sure that the party leader, staff and students of Queen Elizabeth Boys School were as happy as I was with your drivers! I hope to see them again some time; in the meantime, I am sure that you will be able to convey my thanks to them and to wish them all the best. Yours faithfully LM PS Nice coach too! On Sunday evening we arrived back from a lovely weekend away in Bournemouth which was organised by George Richards. The hotel and food were lovely but I wanted to tell you how we felt about your driver. He was very courteous, pleasant and helpful but above all he got us there and back safely and had to contend with some very bad weather conditions. He was a very good driver and we felt very safe with him. I am a very nervous passenger and have been on other coach trips and felt very uncomfortable under normal circumstances but he handled the coach very well and I felt safe with him. He drove the coach with great care and attention whilst coping with gale force winds, hail, torrential rain and even bright sun. I certainly would not have liked to do it. He read the road very well and was courteous to other drivers. In short WELL DONE Ray all the very best to you. We hope to see you driving us again sometime. You’re the best driver we have had. I hope you pass on our thoughts and feeling to him. Dear Sirs I am writing to thank you for the splendid organisation of our holiday to Venice, Florence and Rome on 24th April this year. We had a wonderful time, with completely hassle free travel. The drivers, together with our Travel Director, were not only exceedingly competent but charming and most attentive to all their passengers’ comfort. My mother, who is 84 going on 44 was especially well looked after. They were also extremely knowledgeable regarding the different areas through which we drove and were able to point out many interesting places or facts as we passed by, thereby making the journey even more fascinating. The excursions were excellently planned to give the optimum time at each destination and ensure that in the short time available we were able to see all those places of interest we most wanted to visit. It was a lovely experience and one we will all remember for a long time. I am also writing to Newmarket so that they are aware of the splendid work done by your company. Dear Mr Reay On behalf of our Association, I would like to thank all those at Reay’s who helped make our recent trip to central France so successful. This was our third biennial visit and the transport was in a different league to the previous two journeys. I am sure it was a nuisance having to take out some seats and respace the rest, but combined with the Bova coach’s comfort it did make a huge difference – especially for the many tall people on the trip. Last time I was in severe discomfort by Preston on the outward journey!. All being well, I hope we can use your company again in two year’s time. Yours sincerely Stephen. We wish to bring to your attention our observations regarding the “Coach & Cruise” to Portugal on 29th June. … The hotel location and the lack of any “holiday entertainment” available to guests was a cause of concern in so much as the coach drivers took it on themselves to organise bingo evenings. The drivers also bore the blunt of complaints as there were no representatives available, this was unfair to them but they conducted themselves with dignity. The drivers of Reays Coaches, Wigton, Cumbria made the holiday a success with their professionalism and attitude and we would be grateful if you could pass these comments to Reays Coaches and take our comments as constructive for future tours. Dear Sir My family and I have just returned from a 10 day coach trip to Austria with Consort Travel. I am writing to say how much we enjoyed ourselves. We found the Reays coach to be most comfortable. More important though were the drivers, not only were they first rate drivers but they were excellent company, fun and totally professional. As I am sure you are aware, the quality of drivers makes so much difference to a holiday (we saw some at the other end of the scale too!) and they really were the “icing on the cake”. People nowadays are too quick to criticise (sadly that is all too poignant after the recent accident in Salzburg) but I feel it is important that you know how much we valued their help, friendship and service. I would like to compliment you on your driver He is a credit both to you and himself. From the minute we got on the coach his helpful and cheery manner was a joy. His skilful and safe driving was excellent in this day and age of difficult driving. His knowledge of London was superb, better than the tour manager who admitted she had not been to London very often. He even told us which tubes to get to the attractions we wanted to go to, and he was right in every case. 27th February 2008 Dear Chris I am writing on behalf of the students and teachers who travelled with Interski to Aosta on two of your coaches this half term. We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic week which was certainly enhanced by the drivers who were driving the vehicle allocated to us during the week. Nothing was too much trouble for either driver. They were both always polite and courteous whilst mixing with the group. The coach was also immaculate both inside and out throughout the week, we could not have asked for more.
