Welcome to Reays Coaches Ltd situated in Wigton, a busy market town near Carlisle - only 15 minutes from the M6 motorway (which links England with Scotland), and 30 minutes from Keswick (the heart of the beautiful lake district). The business was established in 1985 and our company has grown over the years due to the commitment of the Reay family.

We are renowned for providing the very best in luxury coach travel, whilst offering the latest in safety and comfort. To maintain this type of reputation requires serious investment:- investment in time, investment in people and financial investment. Reays coaches is one of the major players in the industry and to ensure we continue to meet our own high standards we invest over one million pounds a year on new coaches.

All our fleet are routinely inspected and maintained by our own team of skilled technicians in our new fully equipped purpose built premises in Wigton. Safety is of paramount importance to us and when your coach arrives, it will be in perfect working order - beautifully presented, cleaned and valleted.

Investment in people is equally important, and we have built a team, highly skilled in their individual fields and dedicated to ensuring that your experience of Reays coaches exceeds your expectations.

Our operation relies on the latest in information technology to give you the client the service the commitment. All our coaches are equipped with gsm mobile telephones so our driver can contact our duty manager 365 days a year throughout the UK and Europe. We also have, as standard, the benefit of satellite navigation mapping systems in all our vehicles.

Every one of our drivers goes through a tough selection procedure to ensure we only employ those with experience and professionalism ensures our customers receive the kind of care and attention to detail they deserve. We operate over 40 vehicles and employ over 80 uniformed drivers – please read a selection of the hundreds of testimonials we have received.

We currently operate holiday tours for some of largest tour operators in the world both incoming tourists in the UK and outgoing into Europe. We also specialise in corporate business travel, package holidays for private groups, sporting events, weddings parties, airport and seaport connections or just a night out. We take over 500 children to school on a daily basis and also can provide wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Dear Sir

We returned on Sunday from a school trip to the Bucaneve Hotel, Courmayeur, Italy, which was organised by Interski and used Reay’s coaches.

I can honestly say that our drivers were the best drivers that we have ever had on such a trip and we have been taking such trips for the last 12 years.

Both had a pleasant manner with the children and nothing was ever too much trouble. Pupils and teaching staff all had very positive relationships with the drivers.

In this day and age, people are very quick to complain but I feel it is also very important to thank others when they do a good job.

I do hope that we are able to have both of these drivers again if we are using Reay’s coaches on our next Interski trip.
