Training and Compliance Administrator (Wigton)

Full time £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience

 

Due to an internal promotion we are looking to recruit a Transport and Compliance Administrator to join our existing team to ensure we remain compliant. Areas of compliance control include DVSA, and internal processes, ensuring that the necessary expectations and standards are being met and achieved at all times.

 

Responsibilities for the position include:

  • Capturing, recording and sharing of driver’s hours in lines with drivers hours regulations and WTD. Weekly downloading of driver tachos / digi-cards, plus monthly downloading of vehicles.

  • Across various topics, updating and maintaining detailed and accurate up to date records as required by company procedure and legislation.

  • Control of delivery paperwork, ensuring that it’s all in place and ready for the when the drivers arrive back at site.

  • Responsible for IOSH and health and safety.

  • Work with other internal department, supplying them with any relevant and requested information i.e Accounts, HR, Sales etc.

  • Provide numerous ad-hoc & KPI reports to Transport and Compliance Manager in order to measure performance across various topics related to the transport operation.

  • Act as support cover for the Transport and Compliance Manager during periods of annual leave/sickness.

 

You will have experience of working in a transport/compliance department, with excellent organisational skills, the ability to handling multiple tasks and be adaptable to changes to schedules. You will hold a valid PCV license (Category D) and in addition hold or be prepared to study for a Transport Manager CPC. While based at our Wigton office the role will include responsibility and cover across all of our depots.

 

Operations Manager (West Cumbria)                     

Full time - circa £34,000 plus company car    

 

Are you a forward thinker, able to work under pressure, with the ability to motivate and manage a large team of dedicated drivers, operating a fleet of over 100 vehicles.

 

Reays is a fast moving, progressive, cutting edge coach company, with a diverse Private Hire market, working both nationally and throughout Europe for some of the most prestigious coach holiday companies and locally within the nuclear industry and local schools.

 

The ideal candidate will have Operational Management experience in the coaching industry, be an International Transport Manager CPC holder and have a full understanding of International PCV Operator Licence compliance.

 

You will have input into the development of new Standard Operating Procedures and working practices ensuring that quality is maintained and improved to comply with our quality policy and our Guild of British Coach Operators and Coachmarque standards.

 

As well as the day-to-day operational activities you will co-ordinate the recruitment and induction of qualified and trainee drivers including the management of our busy driver training programme.

 

And if you can do all of that and have a PCV driving licence, you’ll be perfect for the job. Security checks will be completed on the successful candidate as part of this role.

Special Needs Escorts

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £117.45 to £156.60 per week

 

This is a TERM TIME contract to escort children with special needs on one of our school routes operated on behalf of Cumbria County Council.

 

The position will be based at either Wigton or Carlisle (James Street) with other pick up locations in Carlisle a possibility.

 

  • Experience preferred but not essential

  • Prepared to receive basic medical training

  • Morning and afternoon school runs in term time only

  • Security checks will be required (existing holder of CRB preferred but not essential)

  • Pleasant, friendly disposition

 

Sales and Marketing Apprentice

Full time based at Wigton with occasional Saturday working

£3.70 per hour

 

We are looking for an apprentice to join our Sales and Marketing team based at our Head Office in Wigton.

 

As well as gaining on-the-job experience within our customer sales and service team, you will have the opportunity to gain relevant a relevant qualification.

 

As part of our Sales and Marketing team you’ll be selling our services, whether that’s private hire, day trips, holidays or events. The goal is to provide exceptional customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.

 

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will secure a permanent, full-time position within our Sales and Marketing team – subject to your performance and completion of studies.
